Food supplement based on Quercetin, Trans-Resveratrol, dry Artichoke extract, Omega 3, Folic Acid, Aluminium Hydroxide, Vitamins B6 and B12 and Potassium, which acts as a renal cytoprotector, anti-inflammatory agent and enteric phosphate binder, providing support in cases of chronic renal failure. Oxidative stress mediates renal damage, the pathophysiology and progression of chronic renal failure. Quercetin, a flavonoid with a powerful antioxidant effect, reduces inflammatory response and inhibits mesangial cell apoptosis, thus protecting the nephrons – the basic components of the kidneys. Trans-Resveratrol is a polyphenol from the stilbene group which, acting as a renal cytoprotector, reduces glomerulosclerosis, proteinuria and systolic pressure by increasing NO-mediated (Nitric Oxide) vasodilation. Folic Acid and Vitamins B6 and B12 are cofactors that support vitamin deficiencies, anaemia and hyperhomocysteinaemia; a risk factor for cardiovascular mortality. Aluminium Hydroxide acts as an enteric phosphate binder, limiting its retention and, therefore, hyperphosphataemia and secondary hyperparathyroidism. It also improves renal function and prevents mineralisation, inflammation and renal fibrosis. Artichoke extract is a digestive and a liver protector. It stimulates the appetite, is antiemetic, spasmolytic, choleretic and cholagogue. The Omega 3 fatty acids protect the kidneys, reducing plasma cholesterol. The addition of Potassium helps to regulate its levels in the body, especially important in cats.

Indications
• Chronic renal failure.

Daily dosage
• Dogs: up to 5 kg: 1 ml; from 5 to 10 kg: 2 ml; from 10 to 15 kg: 3 ml; from 15 to 20 kg: 4 ml; from 20 to 25 kg: 5 ml; from 25 to 30 kg: 6 ml; from 30 to 35 kg: 7ml; from 35 to 40 kg: 8 ml; 40 kg or more: 8 ml.
• Cats: up to 5 kg: 1 ml; 5 kg or more: 2 ml.
• Ferrets, rabbits, rodents: 0.2 ml per kilo of weight. Administer directly or mix with regular food.
