Whilst Meso-zeaxanthin is found in some fish and seafood, it can be made from lutein. Light including that emitted by blue light devices such as computer screens creates free-radicals that can damage the cells of the eye, leading to eye problems such as Age-Related Macular Degeneration or AMD.
