Neuro Balance contains ingredients which contribute to normal functioning of the nervous system as well as to normal psychological function. Finally, Neuro Balance contains 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), an amino acid found in Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract and it is considered a precursor molecule for the synthesis (with the help of vitamin B6) of the neurotransmitter serotonin in our body. Serotonin is a hormone responsible for the control of mood, appetite and sleep and as a result, it could affect the psychological function and functioning of the nervous system
Neuro Balance contains ingredients which contribute to normal functioning of the nervous system as well as to normal psychological function (mood, sleep).

According to European Regulation 432/2012, the product contains:

Vitamin C, niacin, vitamin B6 and iodine which contribute to normal functioning of the nervous system.
vitamin C, niacin and vitamin B6 which contribute to normal psychological function.
Zinc which contributes to normal cognitive function.

Magnesium L-ascorbate and calcium L-ascorbate, meaning salts of ascorbic acid with magnesium and calcium, respectively, have been chosen as a source of vitamin C to be used in this product. These two compounds are buffered, thus less acidic compared to L-ascorbic acid and as a result this helps in preventing gastrointestinal disturbances, such as stomach upset and diarrhoea that occasionally appear in people with sensitivity in consuming L-ascorbic acid.

Nicotinamide has been chosen as a source of niacin providing 125 mg of niacin per capsule. According to European Commission Scientific Committee on Food (now European Food Safety Authority), the tolerable upper intake level (UL) of nicotinamide in adults is 900 mg daily1. Furthermore, the guidance level (GL) of nicotinamide has been set to 500 mg according to UK Expert Group on Vitamins and Minerals2.

The product also contains vitamin B6 in its active form as pyridoxal 5-phosphate. According to European Commission Scientific Committee on Food, the numerical tolerable upper intake value for vitamin B6 has been set to 25 mg daily3.

L-tyrosine and L-glutamine have also been added to the product. L-tyrosine is found in various proteins of the human body and it is considered as a precursor molecule for the synthesis of a group of neurotransmitters (brain chemical substances), called catecholamines.

One of the catecholamines synthesized by L-tyrosine is adrenaline which together with other neurotransmitters help in brain focus and brain concentration in conditions of stress. Basically, L-tyrosine helps in replacing back the stimulating neurotransmitters which are reduced by stress.

L-glutamine is also found in various proteins of the human body as well in various enzymes. It is a special amino acid as it has the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier and reaches the brain where it is converted to L-glutamic acid, an important energy source.

Despite the fact that tyrosine and glutamine as produced endogenously in our body, there are conditions such as intense stress, where the produced quantities of these two substances are not enough and their supplementary intake is necessary.

Finally, euphoria contains 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), an amino acid found in Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract and it is considered a precursor molecule for the synthesis (with the help of vitamin B6) of the neurotransmitter serotonin in our body. Serotonin is a hormone responsible for the control of mood, appetite and sleep.
