Food supplement based on Punicic Acid (Omega 5), DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) and Linolenic acid (Omega 3), Linoleic acid (Omega 6) and Oleic acid (Omega 9), for support in case of hormone-dependent cell disorders of the breast and prostate. Different in vitro trials with cancerogenic cell lines of the breast have shown the chemopreventive and anticarcinogenic effects of pomegranate seed oil in the reduction of powerful oestrogen synthesis, the reduction of PGE2 synthesis, interference in the transduction of signals related to tumour growth and the promotion of apoptosis (controlled cell death). Omega 3 fatty acids, EPA, DHA, a-linolenic acid and Oleic Acid (Omega 9) are beneficial for health and cell protection, and in the reduction of the synthesis of highly pro inflammatory eicosanoids such as PGE2, involved in the promotion of hormone-dependent cancers.
Indications
• Prevention of the development of hormone-dependent tumours (with positive oestrogen receptors). Support treatment after the removal of tumours.
• Benign prostate hyperplasia.
Daily dosage
• Dogs less than 30 kg: 1 capsule every 2 days. Dogs more than 30 kg:
1 capsule per day.
• Cats: 1 capsule every 2 days. If preferred, pour the contents of the capsule
into regular food.
